Haiti and New Zealand to Play Friendly on June 2 at Inter Miami CF Stadium in Preparation for the 2026 FIFA World Cup

Inter Miami CF Stadium brings the World Cup excitement to Fort Lauderdale, with Haiti and New Zealand set to play a thrilling international friendly on June 2 ahead of their participation in the global competition this summer. The match, set to kick off at 7:30 p.m. ET, presents the first-ever meeting between both national teams.

The match is one of two that the Haitian national team is playing at Inter Miami CF’s world-class facilities, with Les Grenadiers set to play Peru at Nu Stadium at Miami Freedom Park on June 5 at 7:30 p.m. ET

About the Match 

Haitian fans in South Florida, get ready to cheer on your players ahead of a historic second participation at a FIFA World Cup for the Caribbean nation. Haiti will feature in Group C alongside Brazil, Morocco, and Scotland. 

The match sees Les Grenadiers return to Inter Miami CF Stadium after previously facing Guatemala in a friendly in March in 2022, and competing in the preliminary round of the 2021 Gold Cup.

For New Zealand, meanwhile, the occasion will mark their second visit to Inter Miami CF Stadium after taking on Colombia in a friendly last November.

The All Whites are also in the final stages of their preparations ahead of participating in the World Cup for a third time. New Zealand will compete in Group G alongside Belgium, Egypt, and Iran.
