About the Match
Venezuela are no strangers to showcasing their game to fans at Inter Miami CF Stadium. La Vinotinto has previously played at our stadium in Fort Lauderdale on four separate occasions: taking on the USMNT and Canada in friendlies in 2025, while previously facing off against Italy in March 2024 and Colombia in December 2023.
The friendly will be part of the first batch of matches for Venezuela with Oswaldo Vizcarrondo at the helm after being named head coach in January, as the South Americans begin to focus on their preparations ahead of the next World Cup qualifying cycle. Venezuela is expected to field their strongest side, which could feature the likes of midfielder Telasco Segovia (Inter Miami), defender Jon Aramburu (Real Sociedad), and midfielder Cristian Cásseres Jr. (Toulouse F.C.).
For Turkish fans, this upcoming friendly presents the opportunity to see their stars up close in action in South Florida for the first time as they prepare for a third appearance at a World Cup. Turkey are set to feature in Group D alongside USA, Paraguay, and Australia in the global competition this summer.
Turkey will fly out with their complete roster ahead of participating in the World Cup, which could include young stars Arda Güler (Real Madrid C.F) and Kenan Yildiz (Juventus F.C), as well as experienced midfielder Hakan Çalhanoğlu (Inter Milan).
